Pet owners, especially dog owners, know where they can and what they can do with their dogs whilst they go away on holiday. But, the next most common pet of cats, seems to be a bit more challenging. So, where should your cat go whilst you are on holiday?
This majorly depends on what kind of cat you have. Some are indoor, others are outdoor. This makes a significant difference in what you are going to want to do with them.
For indoor cats, you have two main options. First, you could send them to a cattery. This is essential a cat kennel/hotel where your cats can stay and will be safe inside. You could also consider asking someone to come to your home to feed and clean their litter. This is a cheaper option.
Outdoor cats will tend to want to stay outdoors. Leaving them at home will be perfect as long as you have a cat flap for them. Ask someone to feed them every few days and you will find they are just as happy as before.
